Strong cooperation: Components from Eibach and KW automotive for the new SEIKEL lift kit.
Close cooperation with the engineers at KW automotive was central to the development of this suspension. The final set-up was created on the basis of extensive test drives covering many thousands of kilometres – including trips to the Tunisian Sahara.
In addition, the suspension was tuned on KW’s test bench to ensure particularly balanced handling.
On the front axle, the lift of approximately 40 millimetres is achieved by a spring seat positioned higher than the standard damper. This creates more space for off-road tyres and improves overall ground clearance. The original suspension spring is retained, which helps to keep costs down.
Longer suspension springs from Eibach are used on the rear axle, which are matched to the KW dampers used.
Rebound damping at the end stop of the shock absorbers provides additional comfort and protection for the components during full suspension travel in off-road use.
The suspension is deliberately designed for comfort and offers sufficient reserves for use unpaved roads – even when the vehicle is loaded.
The SEIKEL lift kit is available for the Volkswagen Transporter T8 and the Ford Custom V710. It is suitable for vehicles with L1 and L2 wheelbases, for models with all-wheel or two-wheel drive, and is compatible with all engine variants – including hybrid and electric drives.
All necessary mounting materials are included in the scope of delivery. Entry in the vehicle documents is based on a parts certificate in accordance with §19 StVZO (German Road Traffic Licensing Regulations).
