We worked closely with the engineers at KW automotive to develop this suspension. The setup was not only refined during test drives covering many thousands of kilometres, including in the Tunisian Sahara, but was also fine-tuned on KW’s suspension test bench.
The original suspension spring is reused on the front axle to save costs. The lift of approx. 40 mm is achieved by a spring seat positioned higher on the shock absorber compared to the standard shock absorber. This provides more space for off-road tyres and improves general ground clearance.
The ground clearance on the rear axle is increased by Eibach springs, which are precisely matched to the KW dampers.
When the suspension is fully extended, rebound damping of the shock absorbers at the end stop provides additional comfort and protects the components.
The suspension design is comfortable and offers sufficient reserves for off-road use and increased driving safety – even when loaded.
The SEIKEL lift kit for the Volkswagen Transporter T8 and Ford Custom V710 is suitable for L1 and L2 wheelbases, four-wheel and two-wheel drive, and all engine types, including hybrid and electric.
The delivery includes all necessary mounting materials.
Entry in the vehicle documents is made by means of a parts certificate in accordance with §19 StVZO (German Road Traffic Licensing Regulations).
When enquiring, please be sure to provide the chassis number (VIN).
For Volkswagen vehicles with IQ light, an additional bracket for the electronic headlight range control sensor is required. This will be added to the offer/order as an accessory after we have checked the VIN.
The expected service life of the drive shafts may be reduced by the lift kit!
