Example on a vehicle with SEIKEL lift kit: Our hitch has a lowered ball head and is equipped with the ROCKINGER-VARIOBLOC. The lowering ensures the required height of the drawbar holder above the road, which means that even multi-axle trailers are loaded evenly and follow behind in an exact way. The ROCKINGER VARIOBLOC is an interchangeable system which enables attachment and detachment within seconds – in other words, a “Click & Drive“ system.

Description

The SEIKEL hitch is a design takeover from TECHAU, which we have expanded with off-road features and updated in 2023 in order to include it in our program again. Our product range also includes rigid and removable tow bars. If you send us this information we will be happy to advise you and send you an individual offer.

Note: if you are ordering a new vehicle we always recommend asking the factory to prepare it for a tow bar.

Benefit1: Lower Coupling Ball

Due to the increase in ground clearance, the coupling ball of a hitch also moves out of the norm. Our development compensates for this by lowering the coupling ball. This fulfills the requirements of the German Road Traffic Licensing RegulaDons (StVZO) and avoids disadvantages in driving dynamics when towing a trailer.

Benefit 2: VARIOBLOC

Optionally, our system is available with the VARIOBLOC Click & Drive from ROCKINGER. This allows the ball head to be removed and reaSached within seconds without tools. AlternaDvely, a pin or hook coupling (NATO coupling) can also be docked.

Benefit 3: Two Recovery Lugs

Two extremely strong recovery lugs are anchored to the SEIKEL off-road hitch and supplemented with suitable steel shackles. This creates the prerequisite for safe recovery maneuvers off the road – because the hitch ball is only designed for towing max. 2,500 kg, not for jerky recovery.
