SEIKEL for the new Volkswagen Amarok and the Ford Ranger
Both vehicles are characterized by their diverse utilization options and an impressive design. Both Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles and Ford have developed brand-safe and stylish variants on the same basis, which we at SEIKEL are now supplementing for improved off-road capability.
Our experience has shown that protecting the underside of the vehicle as well as improving its appearance and practicality for off-road use are relevant aspects. This includes measures such as the installing of new SEIKEL Rocksliders and a SEIKEL vehicle lifting device.
SEIKEL protective plates have a high quality standard
Our protective plates are formed in one piece from solid aluminum and precisely adapted to each vehicle. We use mounting points on the vehicle without additional drill holes for attachment.
Currently already available:
- SEIKEL Protective plate „Desert“ for the engine, 5 mm strong
- SEIKEL Protective plate for the gearbox, 5 mm strong
- SEIKEL Protective plate for the fuel tank, 5 mm strong
- SEIKEL Protective plates for the cable harnesses on the left and right of the ladder frame (to protect against branches getting caught in the cables and falling rocks), 3 mm strong

SEIKEL Rockslider can withstand the heaviest loads
Our newly developed Rockslider serves to protect the side skirts when driving over or sliding over off-road crests. Above all, however, they prevent direct contact between the ground and the side skirts, even if there is a hard landing on rubble or rock.
The new SEIKEL Rockslider generation for Volkswagen and Ford Pick-ups is based on parallel steel tubes that are welded together by using intermediate supports. With an outer diameter of 45 mm and a wall thickness of 2.5 mm, the steel tubes are extremely stable and their hard-wearing powder coating in matt black gives them a sporty look.
SEIKEL Pick-up Rockslider are available in two designs:
- Rockslider with pure Rockslider function
- Rockslider Plus with double tube design with „step“ function for easier access
- Available soon: “Gravel-Protection” stone guard plates which are screwed from below between the tube and the vehicle stop. This means that when driving on slopes, gravel and stones thrown up by the front wheels can be kept away from the side bodywork

SEIKEL Offroad Optimization
By installing Koni shock absorbers specially adapted for SEIKEL, we achieve a lift of 50 mm and achieve balanced handling in a wide range of off-road conditions. Despite off-road optimization, there is no negative impact on driving comfort on paved roads.
