The SEIKEL ProAir pneumatic suspension provides your Volkswagen Transporter with up to 28 cm of ground clearance (with correspondingly large tires). It also enables the vehicle to be lowered to a height of just under 2 m (with awning) – suitable for almost any car park.
All functionality can be controlled easily and with a high level of convenience by way of a handy remote control with soft-touch display: When driving, moving up and down, when parking, levelling for a horizontal sleeping area, lowering to the sides or just the rear. A compressor function for inflating the wheels can be ordered as an option.
A challenging test program, covering tens of thousands of kilometers through snow, ice, water, mud as well as sandy and pebble roads was accompanied by Peter Seikel personally. The result: an air-suspended chassis solution covering variety of applications for transporting people and goods as well as to round off a sophisticated motorhome with 4MOTION and front-wheel drive. SEIKEL ProAir is expected to be available for Volkswagen T5-T6.1 from summer 2022.
